Bro. S. Lingamurthy, Joint General Secretary of FNTO, retired from BSNL service on 31.08.2017. A falicitation function was arranged at Chennai on 21.09.2017 where the Leaders of Political and trade union organizations participated in the function and felicitated him. Shri K. Jayaprakash GS FNTO, K. Vallinayagm Former GS FNTO and D. Chandrasekharan extended warm felicitation to Shri S. Lingamurthy appreciating the multifarious activities undertaken by him to strengthen the FNTO in Channai Telephones and greeted him. The meeting was also addressed by Shri P. Abhimanyu, GS BSNLEU, M.Krishnaswamy, former president, Tamil Nadu State Congress Committee, Ms. Kalavathy, CGM, Chennai, Shri Babu Radhakrishnan, CS, BSNLEU, TN Circle, Bro. M.Kanniappan, CS, BSNLEU, Chennai and many others local leaders. GS BDPA (INDIA) conveyed his greetings through social media.

On 12th July, 2009 Sunday, The BSNL & DoT Pensioners Association, Gujarat Circle, Ahmedabad had launched its own web www.bdpa.in to cater needs of BSNL & DoT Pensioners of Gujarat in general India in particular. We have incorporated orders on 1st & 2nd Wage Revision in BSNL. We have membership in more than 16 Circles and have formed Circle Branch in Kolkata, W.B. Bihar, J & K, NTR, Gujarat, AP, Chennai Telephones, Tamilnadu, Kerala & Karnataka. We have more than 10000 members throughout the country.
