BSNL Corporate Office had sent a proposal for grant of replacement scales for pre-revised E1A, E2A pay scales for JTOs, SDEs and equivalent cadres and up gradation of E3, E4, E5 & E6 scales w.e.f. 01.01.2007 DoT vide its letter No: 61-2/216-SU dated 9th August, 2016 has not accepted the proposal on the plea of huge financial burden on Government exchequer in shape of revised pensionary benefits and recurring expenditure.
