Expeditious steps being taken by the Management to constitute the Joint Committee for negotiating wage revision of the Non-Executives. The Director (HR) states that Management is in the process of constituting such a Joint Committee.

Opening of Pensioners Relation (PR) cell at Corporate and Circle level for the benefit of pensioners as at present there is no designated officer to look after the issues of pensioners. the Dir HR – Accordingly the decision has been taken to open the PR Cell under GM (SR) at Corporate level. The necessary order is under issue.

Implementation of 3rd PRC in BSNL with 15% fitment benefit: The CMD confirmes that now there is a move in DoT to draft the Cabinet Note on relaxation in the affordability clause of 3rd PRC report. The CMD also mentioned that they will be strict for 15% fitment benefits.

On the issue pension revision of BSNL Pensioners, Director (HR) mentioned that she has also discussed the matter with Member (Finance) and the Member (Finance) is also of the opinion that Pension revision will take place after the revision of pay scales of BSNL serving employees.
