DOT has already constituted a committee under CGCA to examine the implications of para 5 of the order of DPE. The intentions of the Govt, thus, are crystal clear. Linking Dearness Relief to Profitability/ losses of BSNL.
Forget, Dearness Relief – Our bread and butter is going to stop.
The intentions of the Govt. with regard to Pensioners are abundantly clear after promulgation of Validation Act, 25, and notification of T.O R of 8th CPC where Govt. has declared that Pensioners have not contributed anything towards Pension Fund.
Anyway, tomorrow at 11 AM, a virtual meeting of about 12 Retired Associations of BSNL/ MTNL is being held to discuss the future course of action for the release of Dearness Relief.
