7th Gujarat C.W.C. Meeting Report

BDPA (INDIA) – 7th Circle Working Committee Meeting of the Association was held at 10.30 hours on 10.07.2015, Friday, in Association Office under the Presidentship of Shri A.N. Patel and transacted the agenda already notified. The G.S. acquainted on the status of 78.2% IDA Merger issue and asked the members to be ready for long struggle as we do not expect the issuance of order to the fullest satisfaction of the pensioners. The performance of Advertisement for Souvenir is poor and we have to accelerate the process. Only Ahmedabad and Rajkot have made beginning. In view of 2nd AIC, it was decided to defer the ensuing get-to-gather. Tentative arrangements for 2nd AIC/5th Gujarat Circle Conference also discussed. The Delegate Fee for AIC was fixed Rs.600/- and Rs.400/- for Circle Delegate. All The Districts will intimate names of delegates to GS latest by 10th August, 2015. The delegates for AIC will get their accommodation from 20th evening to 22nd evening and Circle delegates from 21st Evening to 22nd evening. If the one person is elected as Circle and AIC Delegate he will be the delegate fee for both. Normally observers will not be permitted but in exceptional cases arrangements will be made on payment of Rs.660/-. The provisional budget estimate was discussed and details will be worked out by GS in consultation with the President and Executive President. The Committees will be formed in third week of August, 2016.. It was also decided to replace procedure of sending Birthday Greetings by post through Mobile Message from 1st October, 2015 to minimize expenditure and timely conveying the Birthday Greetings. All the members who have not enrolled their Mobile No. should now registered it immediately.

Shri Thiruvancoor Radhakrishnan, Hon’ble Minister for Transport, Sports & Forest, Kerala State inaugurated the Conference.
