BDPA (INDIA) PALAKAD DISTRICT (KERALA) GENERAL BODY MEETING & GET-TO-GATHER HELD ON 18.08.2026.
The General Body Meeting and Family Meet of BDPA (India), Palakkad District, Kerala, was held on 18 August 2026 at Top In Town Hall, opposite KSRTC, Palakkad. The meeting was inaugurated by Sri Ramesh Pisharody, Hon’ble MLA.
The meeting was presided over by Sri Rasheed Ali, Retired Accounts Officer and District President. Sri Jyothi Prasadan, District Secretary, welcomed the members and the Chief Guest, while Sri G. Ramachandran proposed the vote of thanks.
The General Body strongly urged the Government to implement pension revision for BSNL absorbed pensioners based on the 3rd PRC recommendations, by delinking it from wage revision.
Various important issues concerning pensioners were also discussed, including the opening of CGHS Wellness Centres at all District Headquarters and the early empanelment of hospitals for which willingness has already been forwarded to CGHS/Ministry at New Delhi.
During the programme, BDPA (India) bulletins were distributed among the members. More than +80 years senior members were felicitated in recognition of their valuable service and contribution.
The meeting concluded in a cordial and enthusiastic atmosphere, reflecting the unity and continued commitment of BDPA (India), Palakkad District, towards the welfare of BSNL/DoT pensioners.
