B.G. Salunke, District Secretary, Surat Telecom District, arranged get-to-gather of District Working Committee Members and active members on 12.08.2025 in Senior Citizen Hall, Surat. Shri M.M. Ghadiali, District President; where more than 75 members were present.
An issue of non-receipt of our quarterly magazine and difficulties being faced in medical bill payments and empanelment of Hospitals were brought to notice of GS & President by District Secretary and they were satisfactorily explained.
Thomas John K, All India President a very lucrative and informative speech for more than 55 minutes explaining the reasons for in ordinate delay in settlement of BSNL Pensioners Pension Revision issue as per 3rd P.R.C. He said that of late now the leaders of Pensioners Association have realized the fact that it will be desirable to go for out of court of settlement for BSNL Pensioners Pension Revision Issue. He requested members to contribute for Office Maintenance Fund to have our effective working and strengthening the organization.
Due to shortage of time, D.D. Mistry in his speech said that they are listening him as he is local man and we had an occasion to listen our All India President which was need of hour. He said that Quarterly Magazine is posted by ordinary post and due to paucity of staff, many times members are not getting.
In an exemplary manner, on the sport donation for Office Maintenance Fund was given by the members to a tune of Rs.15000/- showing their solidarity with the CHQ.
J.M. Sadiwala anchored the event and expressed thanks of members for participating in the meeting in short notice and also thanked the GS for considering Surat for All India President Visit.
