CPMG Gujarat writes to expedite Pension Revision as per 78.2% IDA by Post Offices

 We were in receipt of numerous complaints from our Pensioners drawing their Pension from Revdi Bazar and Navrangpura that though their Revised Pension Orders are received by the HPOs, they are declining to effect the payment on the plea that the concerned officer is on leave, Audit Work is under Process and shortage of staff hinting that it may be done only in March 2017.

We therefore took up the issue with the CPMG Gujarat vide our letter dated 08.10.2017 and the CPMG Gujarat took note of it and issued the letter No: A&P/12-2/Pension Adalat/Dec-16 Dated 10.01.2017 to the (1) The Sr. Postmaster, Navrangpura HO and the Post Master Revdi Bazar PO and endorsing to copy to the DA (P), Pension, 1st Floor, GPO Compound, Ahmedabad reading as follows:

 

Sub:         Request to expedite the pension revision as per 78.2% IDA merger to BSNL Pensioners who are receiving pension from Post Offices in Gujarat.

                 With reference to above, enclosed please find herewith a copy of letter No: BPS/BDPA(I)/Pen Adalat/2017 daed 08.01.2017 received from Shri D.D. Mistry, Secretary, Bharat Pensioners’ Samaj, on the above mentioned subject.

                 The case may be examined in accordance with the rules and redress within the time limit and the complainant may be informed of the final decision taken in the matter directly under intimation to this office. In case it is likely to take longer time to redress an interim reply with reasons for delay may be sent to the complainant. In any case action may be taken to settle this case expeditiously.

OUR NOTE: Those Pensioners who have received copy of their revised PPO and not got CPMG Gujarat writes to expedite Pension Revision as per 78.2% IDA by Post Offices and not getting proper response should send their written detailed complaint to the Association Office at CTO Ahmedabad latest by 20th January, 2017. Telephonic Complaints will not be entertained.
