MTNL/BSNL PENSIONERS PENSION REVISION – STATUS AS ON 22.12.2023
On 22.12.2023, G. L. Jogi, G/S SNPWA and R. K. Mudgal, G/S MREWA met Director (Estt.), DOT and discussed with him the following ONGOING issues of the pensioners :–
# Latest Status on the implementation of the judgement of PB CAT ND :- Director (Estt.) informed that the matter is under active consideration and discussion with the concerned officers of the nodal departments like DOP & PW, DOE etc. inorder to get necessary feedback from them on this crucial issue so as to enable DOT to take final decision on the issue after briefing Hon’ble MOC & IT.
However, due to the just concluded parliament session, Hon’ble MOC & IT was having very tight schedule and could not be briefed by the concerned senior officers in DOT who are waiting to meet him once he is free so as to apprise him of the preliminary feedback of the concerned nodal ministries on this issue to enable and facilitate them to move further and take final call on this crucial issue after getting his approval.
# Status of 5 % IDA Neutralization :- Director (Estt.) informed that Internal Finance of DOT has raised some query and the matter has been sent to the CGCA to recalculate up-to-date total financial expenditure involved in the subject matter. After receipt of the reply of CGCA, again the case shall be put up to the IFD for further process of the case.
