News on Pensioners Irritating Issues 

14.06.2018 : Smt Sujata Ray Director(HR) BSNL is on official tour to Kolkata. She granted a meeting with  one of the Pensioners Association and following was discussed. Salient issues:

1) Opening of Pensioners Grievance Cell: For further improvement of the system she was requested to introduce acknowledging the grievances by sending SMS and to provide an arrangement to view the status of the grievance. She highly appreciated the suggestions and assured to implement the same within short time.

2) Inordinate delay in settlement of medical claims of pensioners: It was pointed out that in all circles of India average delay for settlement of outdoor claims is minimum 4 months and that for indoor claims it is one year and for maximum delay there is no limit. Director (HR) enquired whether it is pan India picture, she was requested to enquire in any circle of her choice. Everywhere pensioners are left to the mercy of the concerned officials and officers. She then informed that the preparation of “Bill Tracking Module” is now being done by ITPC unit and expected to be ready by next 2 months.

3) Proposed meeting with all pensioner Associations: It was reminded to her that the proposed meeting has not been arranged although promised. There are small small problems which can be resolved through this meeting. Director (HR) mentioned that on the inauguration day of “Bill Tracking Module” the said meeting will be arranged.

BSNLMRS – PENSIONERS HELPLESSLY AND EAGERLY WAITING FOR ORDERS FROM CORPORATE OFFICE FOR FURTHER SUBMISSION OF THEIR MEDICAL REIMBURSEMENT CLAIMS AND ALSO CHANGING THEIR OPTIONS…..  ????
