SHOCKING NEWS – Nripendra Deka, Circle Secretary, BDPA (India), Assam Circle passed away on 03.12.2025, following protracted illness at B Boruah Cancer Hospital , Guwahati and his funeral held on 04.12.2025 morning. He was born on 01.01.1951 and joined department on 19.05.1972 retired on 31.08.2011 from KAMRUP SSA. He had joined BDPA (INDIA) on 11.04.2019, Membership No: 15484. He was suffering from cancer and admitted to Hospital since last few days. We have lost a solder of BDPA (INDIA) in Assam Circle and his service to Pensioners fraternity will be written in golden words.
Mr. N Deka’s (Circle Secretary BDPA Assam) sad demise is unexpected. Three years back we were together at Guwahati while attending the working committee of BDPA Assam. At this age also he was very active and maintained good relations with senior officers and arranged meetings with CGM and CCA Assam. BDPA lost one of the stalwart and I lost a good friend.
