The President has now decided that the calculation ceiling of monthly emoluments for the purpose of payment of PLB shall be revised to Rs. 7000 w.e.f: 01.04.2014 i.e. for the accounting year 2014-15. Therefore, payment of PLB for the financial year 2014-15 to all eligible non-gazetted Railway employees (excluding all RPF/RPSF personnel) would be based on the wage calculation ceiling of Rs. 7000/- per month i.e. where wages exceed Rs. 7000/- per month, Productivity Linked Bonus will be calculated as if ’wages’ are Rs. 7000/- p.m.
