GET TO GATHER HELD ON 11.03.2017

 

Rajkot Telecom District, BDPA (INDIA) held its Get to Gather and Pension Revision Donation on 11.03.2017 at 10.30 hours at at Soni Wadi ( Shyamkubarbai ( Wadi), Near Darbargadh, Rajkot.

The Gathering commenced with prayer followed with two minutes silence in the memories of those who expired during this period.

Shri Shashikantbhai  Shingada President presided over the gathering and welcome to the guests. Shri J.C. Mandalia, District gave report of activities during past one year, followed with Account Reading by the Treasurer. He impressed upon the members to donate generously as the ensuing Circle Conference is to take place at Rajkot in the month of September, 2017. All the Guests were accorded with flowers.

Shri A.N. Patel, Circle President spoke on the history of the Association and multifarious activities undertaken by the Association and appreciated working of Rajkot Telecom District.

Shri D.D.Mistry, GS spoke on various current irritating issues with details and said that we have to be alert and continue our vigil over the present and future activities of the Government towards protecting Pensioners rights. He spoke on pending issues like Anomalies, Third P.R.C. Relaxation in Medical Reimbursement, BSNL & DoT Pension Adalat, and Encashment of Quarterly Medical Allowance in Cash. He gave details on function of the Association in other States and their activities. He stressed on need of Building for Association and urged the members to contribute generously. He said that more than 575 Pensioners have come forward to contribute and rest will follow.

On the issue of arrears w.e.f. 01.01.2007 to 09.06.2016 consequent upon 78.2% I.D.A. Merger issue, he said that the Association will take proper decision in consultation with sister organization and chalk out the future programme.

Shri M.G. Dhebar offered thanks giving on behalf of the District Branch and appreciated performance of Circle Office Bearers in his unique speech.

Shri M.K. Rawal, SDE BSNL anchored the function and offered his assistance whenever needed.

More than 110 Pensioners participated in the event which was concluded with Launch.
