BDPA (INDIA),  C.H.Q. CONVEY OUR HEARTFELT CONDOLANCES TO HIS FAMILY,

MESSAGE FROM SHRI K. VALLINAYAGAM EX-GS FNTO

Ram vilas Paswan.
A compassionate leader in his own might. In the cabinet and group of ministers, he was the first man to support our demand for government pension. He was present during the signing of our agreement with secretary DTS and then visited his brother who was in hospital after an accident.
He accepted the FNTO demand for rent free phone to all our employees, though the other federations were not keen on this demand.
When chairman, DOT belittled this demand, Paswan said I will be happy to hear the ringing sound of rent free phone in the house of every class 4 employee and phone mechanic. He helped regularize all casual mazdoors in DOT during birth of BSNL.
He respected all union leaders and wanted to settle the workers problems to maximum extent.
Once he invited me to IFTAR party hosted by him in his residence at Janpath and introduced me to PM, Congress President and other political leaders attending the party.
Paswan’s death is a irrepairable loss to working class .we condole his death.
