SNPWA – ON 8TH C.P.C.

31 Oct

Not a single suggestion given by the NJCM to the Cabinet Secretary regarding Central Govt. Pensioners is included in the Terms of Reference of 8th CPC. In fact, what MoF mentioned about reducing the Fiscal Deficit, while introducing Finance Bill, 25, in the Parliament, is vindicated in the virtual warning sounded to 8th CPC by the government. Not a single word about existing Pensioners is mentioned in the Terms of Reference.
Justice Ranjana Desai, Chairman of the 8th CPC, in her capacity as Chairman of the delimitation process in 2020, Head of the Uniform Civil Code, Uttarakhand, and presently as head of the UCC Gujarat, has been generally very well disposed to and supportive of the Central Government.
Besides, the 8th Pay Commission has been categorically directed, rather warned, by the Government, to keep in mind that Present Pension Scheme is non funded and noncontributory, leaving absolutely no room to conclude about what the Sinister Designs of the Government are.
8th CPC is strangulated and stifled by the Govt., and its outcome is predetermined. Govt. steadily but surely moving towards accomplishing its devilish designs to abolish Pension altogether in the long run.
