VRS 2019 – Request to issue detailed guidelines for VRS 2019 Optees for (1) Continuation of their Service Connection (2) Continuation of Medical Reimbursement till they receive their regular PPO

We had sought for clarification on following issues from the CMD BSNL VIDE OUR LETTER DATED 30.01.2020 UNDER THE SUBJECT “ (1) Continuation of their Service Connection (2) Continuation of Medical Reimbursement till they receive their regular PPO”   AND BSNL CORPORATE HAD ALREADY ISSUED ORDER ON 28.01.2020 ON SOME OF THE ISSUES. ONLY POINT NO. 3 IS AWAITING CLARIFICATION.

  1. As per BSNLMRS, the Pensioners are to be issued their IDENTITY CARD as Pensioners, containing their PPO Number.
  2. All the BSNL Pensioners are eligible for issuance of their MEDICAL IDENTITY CARD for availing Medical facilities for which they have to produce PPO before their SSA Head.
  3. As per rules, all BSNL Pensioners are eligible to continue their Free Phone Facility, i.e. SE DoT Phone for which they have to produce Original PPO for making necessary endorsement to that effect.
