“UPDATE ON PENSION REVISION CASE IN DELHI HIGH COURT”
Today, Pension Revision case came up before the Delhi High Court at around 3:45 PM. The Government Counsel argued for nearly 75 minutes. His principal contention was that the BSNL/MTNL absorbee pensioners are eligible only for IDA benefits. He also argued that we are presently drawing higher pension than DoT employees, thereby implying that Pension Revision is not required.
He further attempted to challenge and refute the findings of the PB CAT ND. However, his arguments remained inconclusive.
